As an important milling equipment, ball mill should be maintained by users termly. About the basic maintenance of the
ball mill, i don't say more, now we talk about cooling methods of Ball Mill. Reasons of Ball mill temperature rising is energy consumption in mechanical friction of grinding ore, or the temperature of the material is too high. When the grinding temperature of ball mill is too high, we need to think of ways to reduce it, so as not to affect the normal production. Following are three cooling methods of
Ball Mill:
1.to strengthen ventilation in ball mill
This should be the simplest method. We can according to heat balance of the ball mill to calculate its cooling air volume, but if the wind is too large, the grinding effect will be worse.
2.to increase the water spray device
Water from the grinding head or grinding is feasible. Only when the temperature of material is higher than 100 degrees, we can feed water from the mill end,and also can downstream water.
3.to spray water in ball mill to cool it
Cool ball mill in it is based on cooling outside. Water with the compressed air as atomized state is sprayed into the mill, which is not only use water's sensible heat, but also use latent heat of water in the evaporation. It effectively toskes away the heat inside the mill, but note that the water is about 1 to 1.5% of the material, otherwise the water can not be completely evaporated. And it deteriorates the strength properties.
